Looking for a new category to edit? A complete list of Help Wanted categories in all subject branches is available at Test/Help Wanted. However, there are a number of interesting categories with a large number of Unreviewed that deserve to be highlighted. Please note that a call for help doesn't necessarily mean that the current editors are doing a poor job, only that the category could use some extra attention.

  • Business: Consulting, Entrepreneurs, Industries/Manufacturing/Consumer_Products, International Business and Trade, and Jobs.
  • Computers: CAD, Education, Hacking, Multimedia/Companies, and various subcategories of Computers/Internet.
  • Games: Gambling/Online, Internet/Web, and various subcategories of Video Games.
  • Health: Alternative/Meditation, Alternative/Energy Healing, various subcategories of Conditions and Diseases, and various subcategories of Medicine.
  • Home: Gardens, specifically Gardens/Plants, and various subcategories of Kids.
  • News: Congratulations to News for the smallest number of unreviewed at only 115! No categories have a significant number of unreviewed.
  • Recreation: Various subcategories of Auto/Enthusiasts, Boating/Sailing, Humor/Jokes, Outdoors/Fishing, and Travel/Specialty Travel.
  • Reference: Quotations and various subcategories of Education, especially Colleges and Universities, K-12, Continuing Education, International, and Subjects.
  • Regional: Various countries, including France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, India, and Thailand.  Also various states, particularly Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, and Washington.
  • Science: Biology, Chemistry, Environmental, Math, and Technology.
  • Shopping: Crafts, Fine Arts, Flowers, various subcategories of Health and Beauty, various subcategories of Home and Garden, Online Malls, Sports, and Variety.
  • Society: Issues subcategories, particularly Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual, Online Issues Polls, Regional, Online Issues Discussions, and Parents’ Rights.  Also Organizations, with help especially needed in the subcategories of Education, Professional, and Social. Astrology also has a large number of unreviewed.
  • Sports: Baseball/Players, Fantasy, Martial Arts, especially Tae Kwon Do, Soccer, Tennis, and Wrestling, Professional.
  • World: Dansk and Português.
A final note: when applying for any of these categories, please remember that just because a category is listed doesn't mean metas will auto-approve people for them. These categories will be treated like any other category by metas when approving/rejecting category requests.
